General Rules for Trucks and Drivers
1. All vehicles must pass a tech and safety inspection for the class or classes they are entering before the start of the event.
2. Helmets are required for all drivers and passengers in every vehicle entering the mud pit. Drivers and passengers must wear adequate footwear.
3. Seatbelts with shoulder straps must be worn by the driver and passenger.
4. All open, soft-top, and modified bodies must have a 4-point harness for drivers and passengers. Only one passenger per vehicle.
5. Vehicle must not have any loose objects in the cab or the bed.
6. NO DRUGS or ALCOHOL permitted on the property. If any one is observed consuming either of the above they will be disqualified, forfeit all class fees for each of its classes.
The same vehicle may be entered in all classes as long as the
Vehicle meets the tech criteria for each of its classes.
7. The same vehicle can run twice in each class but must have a different driver each time.
8. A drawing of numbers will be done at the time of the drivers meeting to determine the order in which drivers will run. A line-up board will be available before the start of each class.
9. All drivers must be at least 16 years of age.
10. All participants must read, understand and sign a release form as mud bogging can be a dangerous sport.
11. If you choose to withdraw your registration after 10:45 a.m. we will not be able refund your entrance fee.
12. All vehicles must be operated in a safe manner at all times to include while in the parking areas, staging, return line, unloading, loading and in the pit. WE DON’T WANT ANYONE HURT!!!
13. Tech inspections will be done from 7:15 a.m. – 10:15 a.m. Registration will be open from 7:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m. (we will not turn any vehicle or person away that is in line at the cut-off times.)
14. Rear tow hooks are mandatory and front tow hooks are recommended.
15. All vehicles must have adequate brakes and must be able to stop at all times. The vehicles fuel cell must be secured.
16. No dogs allowed. We don’t want to see them hurt.
17. There will be a drivers meeting for ALL drivers in all classes before the start of the event to pull numbers for the running order.
· Class 1 up to 35-inch tires. No superchargers, Turbochargers or nitrous.
Registration fees are $15.00
· Class 2 36-inch tires – 39.5-inch tires. No superchargers, Turbochargers or nitrous. Registration fees are $15.00
· Class 3 40-inch tires – 54-inch tires. No superchargers, Turbochargers or nitrous. Registration fees are $20.00
· Class 4 Open. Tractor Tires, Military, Ect. , You name it!
Registration fees are $25.00
· Classes 1, 2, and 3 must have been DOT approved tires. Cutting and / or Regrooving IS allowed. We do this so even old mud tires can be used. This is our effort to keep the sport affordable! All tire sizes will be determined by actual measurements front to back, on the truck.
