New winch on my Toyota

I picked up a 10K winch Friday. Still has 1-1/2 year warranty left on it.
I was having issues with my camera but here's what I got.

Started by setting the winch on top of the bullbar then did some measuring. I wanted it to set back as far as I could get it on top of the bullbar that I had already made.

I had to cut the center out of the bumper


Then I removed the bar and added 2" box on top the made the 2 mounting plates for the winch and tacked those on top.


Then made supports at the front and rear of the mounting plates.


Then painted and mounted on the truck.


Really wasn't hard to do. Bullbar was already made I just had to make mounts. It came out like I wanted it to. Set back as far as it could be. Can't get a finger in the back. Also the fairlead came out just right under the grill guard.



The control box is on front of the grill guard right now. Didn't have long enough cables Saturday.
I now have the cables I need and hopefully tomorrow will be moving it under the hood. Then when I get time again I will be moving the plug in for the remote so I don't have to run the cable under the hood.
Also will be building a bumper now too. LOL

Today I moved the control box under the hood.





Looks much better now without the box on the front of the grill guard.






I also removed the plug for the remote and made longer wires and mounted the plug in the dash at the bottom left side.

Very Nice.

Today I installed a new Optima battery. Damn they have gone up. LOL.
Also installed a volt meter on the dash.
