Looks ruff , but the frame is solid , runs and allready solid axle coverted . I have a good bed and doors , so just a little rocker work and the body will be solid as well . i allso all ready have the springs front and rear end . So now i have a rig to put togiether for next season ! And there was no cash out of pocket , i love trading !

Ok , so here is a pic of the winch a bought for $ 150 bucks !!

So started working on the truck again today . Finished up fixing the rust on the inner fender , kinda were the inner meets the radiator support . Are welder is broke and is stuck on high wire speed and the heat range knob is erratic at best ! But i did what i could ,and then under coated both inner fender Wells !
Ya , allso put the little street tires on !

Moved the ECM as well , this way it will not be so close to the floor . I'm going to get one of those organizers that you put over your visor , and glue it into the glove box to put my reg. in and what not .

These first pics are before i set the shackles up the correct shackle angel pics are a few pics down !!!!!

Removed a couple leafs the packs were to stiff

did some more work on the truck today ! Started with parting out the parts truck . Didn'T turn out to be that good of a parts truck , some of the stuff wasn't any good - like the rear end that i needed . But it was free so , got a good deal on the stuff i did use :sm_laughing:

One thing i did need was the power steering box ! So started by removing the push pull box that was on my rig when i got it . Then i put the p/s box off the parts truck . Now i can put on the high steer !:sm_excited: Cut off some of the not needed old brackets on the front housing and put on the high steer . This is very cool ! This is the first time I've had steering in this truck . That will make it easier to move around now . :sm_laughing:

OLD BOX

Frame ready for new box

New box in the pile of parts :sm_laughing:

New box in , sorry about the pic .

Gotta love high steer !!!

got some more done on the truck this weekend ! Shortened up the frame rails and added my reciever as part of my rear cross member .

Happy that my welding is getting better !!!

Decided to weld in some extra supports on the inside of the frame rails to the hitch .

cleaned up the whole rear frame clip when i was done and put it in paint !!

It was time to do away with the old 85 front spring hanger ,and install the new trail gear one
Old spring hanger

Started out cutting out the old one !

Then cleaned things up and ready for the install

Got it all set in place , now the welding starts !

All welded in !

All painted ! This didn't really take to long and went real well !!
