I been wanting to and started it today. I am building a trailer out of a 88 Toyota frame and bed. Not sure how long it will take me as I will have to hit other projects too.
I cut the front suspension off. Cut off the torsion bar and front cab mounts. Cut notches on the inside of the frame so I could bend the front ends together to mount a ball coupler. 2". Thats as far as I got today.
Anyways here's some pics to start with.

Having trouble with the new welding rod I bought. Need to get more this weekend. This rod sucks. Real bitch to get started. Guess I know why it was so cheap. So I will be going over this patch again. LOL

Well I'm pretty much out of time. I have put the bed back on the frame and put it up on the hill out back till spring. I needed it out of the way for plowing and the frame out of the garage. Will just have to finish next year I guess.

I finally got alot more done on the trlr this past week. All welding is done and frame painted. Bed mounted. Got a state vin # and registered. Used it Saturday to go get lumber and pulls great.
Still got to put plywood on the front and mount a spare. Got to get the cap done to put that on also. Will take more pics of that as it goes.
